Mamma's Pasta
Since my daughter has become a vegetarian, I've been trying out more vegetarian dishes. To give this vegetable-rich whole grain pasta a good flavour, I first sauté small pieces of vegetables and then simmer them in a lightly Moroccan spiced tomato sauce. This gives the pasta sauce a lot of depth and flavour. Served with a Caprese salad of mini mozzarella, tomato, and fresh basil.
Mamma's Pasta
Cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, carrot, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, white onion, courgette, garlic, fresh basil, baharat spices (contains cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, cinnamon), oregano, thyme, rosemary, mini mozzarella, whole grain penne pasta, extra virgin olive oil, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.
Allergens: gluten, koemelk, lactose.
Microwave
Heat the pasta loosely covered for 2-3 minutes (1 person) to 4-6 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the Caprese salad (cold).
Oven — 200°C, 15-25 minMarleen's choice
Preheat the pasta covered with an ovenproof plate or aluminium foil for 15 minutes (1 person) to 20-25 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the Caprese salad (cold). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven, transfer to an oven dish.
