Sweet and Sour Prawns
Inspired by the classic Chinese sweet and sour chicken, Justin has developed this dish: juicy chicken thigh, marinated and roasted, with a fresh sweet and sour sauce based on pineapple juice, rice vinegar, and tomato. We briefly sauté fresh bell peppers and red onion, and together with the pineapple, we mix this with the sweet and sour sauce. Served with fluffy whole grain rice. Delicious!
Sweet and Sour Prawns
Chicken thigh fillet (better life 2 stars), green bell pepper, red bell pepper, red onion, pineapple, basmati rice, brown rice, tomato ketchup, cornflour, sugar, rice vinegar.
Allergens: sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the chicken with sauce and rice loosely covered for 4 minutes (1 person) to 8 minutes (2 or more persons).
Oven — 200°C, 15-30 minMarleen's choice
Heat the chicken with sauce and rice covered with an ovenproof plate or aluminium foil for 20 minutes (1 person) to 30 minutes (2 or more persons). Disposable containers cannot go in the oven, transfer to an oven dish.
