Sweet and Sour Chicken
Inspired by the classic Chinese sweet and sour chicken, Justin has developed this dish: juicy chicken thigh, marinated and roasted, with a fresh sweet and sour sauce made from pineapple juice, rice wine vinegar, and tomato. We briefly sauté fresh green and red peppers along with red onion, and mix them with the pineapple and sweet and sour sauce. Served with fluffy wholegrain rice. Delicious!
Chicken thigh fillet (better living 2 stars), green pepper, red pepper, red onion, pineapple, basmati rice, brown rice, tomato ketchup, cornflour, sugar, rice vinegar.
Allergens: sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the chicken with sauce and rice loosely covered for 4 minutes (1 person) to 8 minutes (2 or more persons).
Oven — 200°C, 15-30 minMarleen's choice
Preheat the chicken with sauce and rice covered with an oven-safe plate or aluminium foil for 20 minutes (1 person) to 30 minutes (2 or more persons). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven, transfer to an oven dish.
