Sultan Kofte
A special dish from Sabien, our chef who is well-versed in Turkish cuisine. These koftes are made from minced beef (better living 2 stars), seasoned with cloves, cumin, and pul biber chili flakes (spicy chili flakes). We roast these koftes in the oven until cooked through and golden brown. Accompanying them is seasoned rice, which includes fried orzo, a typical Turkish method of preparation. The fasuliye (stewed green beans) are also prepared according to a Turkish recipe, stewed in tomato sauce with oregano. Served with a refreshing yoghurt dip with fresh herbs.
Minced beef (better living 2 stars), green beans, tomatoes, white onion, garlic, fresh basil, mint and parsley, confit lemon, chili powder, cumin seeds, cloves, oregano, pul biber (spicy chili flakes), pasteurised free-range egg, yoghurt, basmati rice, orzo pasta (wheat flour), semolina (wheat flour), tomato puree, extra virgin olive oil, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.

Microwave
Heat the Turkish rice, green beans, and sultan koftes loosely covered for 3-4 minutes (1 person) to 5-8 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the yoghurt dip (cold).

Preheat the Turkish rice, green beans, and sultan koftes covered with aluminium foil or an oven-safe dish for 15-20 minutes (1 person) to 25-30 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the yoghurt dip (cold). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven; transfer to an oven dish.
