Sausage with Summer Mash

Deliciously Dutch! This fresh organic fennel sausage from Brandt&Levie is pure in flavour and has a robust texture. Accompanying it is a creamy summer mash packed with beans and green vegetables. Served with homemade compote made from Dutch apples.

Fresh organic fennel sausage from Brandt&Levie (organic pork, sea salt, red wine, fennel seeds, black pepper, garlic, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, sweet paprika), leek, runner beans, white beans, peas, potato, apple, fresh parsley and chives, milk, Dijon mustard, sugar, cinnamon stick, star anise, extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, pepper & salt.

Microwave

Heat the mash with the sausage loosely covered for 2-3 minutes (1 person) to 5-6 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the apple compote (cold).
