Sauerkraut Tart for Kids
This dish comes from the family of one of my cooks, Sabien. Her mother makes it at the request of all her grandchildren during almost every visit. The combination of crispy puff pastry, tangy sauerkraut, crumbly minced beef, bacon bits, and savoury cheese is irresistibly delicious!
Sauerkraut Tart for Kids
Bacon, minced beef (better life 2 stars), sauerkraut, apple juice, bay leaf, white onion, mature cheese, crème fraîche, pepper, salt, puff pastry.
Allergens: gluten, koemelk, lactose.
Microwave
Heat the sauerkraut tart loosely covered for 2-3 minutes (1 person) to 4-6 minutes (2 or more persons).
Oven — 200°C, 15-25 minMarleen's choice
Preheat the sauerkraut tart covered with aluminium foil or an oven-safe dish for 10 minutes (1 person) to 15-20 minutes (2 or more persons), removing the cover for the last 5 minutes. Disposable containers cannot go in the oven, transfer to an oven dish.
