Sauerkraut Pie

Winter comfort food on the menu today! I simmer the sauerkraut with spices and a splash of apple juice to reduce the acidity, then mix in some crumbled minced beef and bacon. I top the mash with cheese and let it gratin in the oven until it forms a golden brown crust. Enjoy your meal!
