Indian Chicken Biryani
This authentic Indian dish is characterised by the chicken (better life 2 stars) being gently cooked in the rice in a sealed pot. This allows all the flavours, including saffron and cardamom, to meld beautifully together. We finish the rice with cauliflower and raisins, served alongside a fresh salad dressed with a mildly spicy dressing. The dish may differ slightly from the photo, as the salad does not contain egg and has a separate dressing.
Indian Chicken Biryani
Chicken thigh fillet (better life 2 stars), cauliflower, cucumber, vine tomatoes, red and white onion, garlic, red and green chilli, rawit chilli, lemon, fresh ginger, coriander, bay leaf and mint, chickpeas, garam masala (coriander seed, cumin seed, cardamom, allspice, nutmeg, pepper, fennel seed, bay, clove), cinnamon, caraway seed, turmeric, tandoori masala (contains e.g. mustard seed, celery, fenugreek, garlic, paprika), almond flakes, raisins, milk, yoghurt, basmati rice, baking soda, coconut milk, santen (coconut cream), butter, white wine vinegar, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.
Allergens: koemelk, lactose, mosterd, noten, selderij, sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the chicken with rice loosely covered for 3-4 minutes (1 person) to 5-8 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the salad (cold).
Oven — 200°C, 15-30 minMarleen's choice
Preheat the rice with chicken covered with an ovenproof plate or aluminium foil for 15-20 minutes (1 person) to 25-30 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the salad (cold). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven, please transfer to an oven dish.
