Hutspot with Meatball and Gravy
This classic hutspot is a delicious Dutch dish made with tender stewed carrots and onions, combined with fluffy potatoes. The juicy beef meatball (better life 2 stars) and mustard are cooked in my homemade gravy.
Beef meatball (better life 2 stars - contains egg, mustard, and gluten), carrot, white onion, potato, Jonagold apple, fresh rosemary, cinnamon, curry massala (contains coriander seed, turmeric, and mustard seed), star anise, milk, Dijon mustard, red wine, white wine, sugar, veal stock (contains gluten), potato starch, butter, white wine vinegar, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.
Allergens: koemelk, lactose, mosterd, sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the hutspot and the meatball with gravy loosely covered for 3-4 minutes (1 person) to 5-8 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the apple compote (cold).

Preheat the hutspot and the meatball with gravy covered with aluminium foil or an oven-safe dish for 15-20 minutes (1 person) to 25-30 minutes (2 or more persons). Serve with the apple compote (cold). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven; transfer to an oven dish.
