Daging smoor is fragrant braised beef from the Javanese region, infused with aromatic spices such as nutmeg and cloves. The ketjap manis gives the stewed meat (sukade with a Better Life 2 Stars certification) a deep, slightly sweet, warming flavour. Served with crunchy sambal green beans and fluffy whole grain rice.

Beef sukade (Better Life 2 Stars), green beans, red bell pepper, white onion, red chilli, garlic, lime juice, fresh lemongrass (sereh) and ginger, chilli powder, coriander seeds, cloves, galangal, nutmeg, basmati rice, brown rice, gluten-free ketjap manis, sambal badjak, tamarind, coconut milk, santen (coconut cream), sunflower oil, pepper and salt.
Allergens: soja, sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the daging smoor and rice with green beans loosely covered for 3-4 minutes (1 person) to 5-8 minutes (2 or more persons).

Preheat the daging smoor and rice with green beans covered with aluminium foil or an oven-safe dish for 15-20 minutes (1 person) to 25-30 minutes (2 or more persons). Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven; transfer to an oven dish.
