Asian-style Tofu
This marinated tofu is a delicious flavour enhancer for Asian rice dishes, noodles, or as a topping on an exotic salad. This recipe is easy to make and you'll have something special right away :)
4 servings
250 g tofu 2 cloves of garlic
10 g fresh ginger, peeled 1 tablespoon sesame oil 3 tablespoons soy sauce, I use Kikkoman less salt
1 tablespoon sugar
For garnish:
Spring onion and sesame seeds
Preparation method: 1. Chop the garlic cloves and cut the ginger into small pieces. Then mix with the sesame oil, soy sauce, and sugar. If you have a blender, you can blend it for an even better consistency. 2. Drain the tofu well beforehand. Cut the tofu into cubes or slices, whichever you prefer. 3. Fry the tofu in a little sunflower oil until lightly coloured all around.
4. Mix the warm tofu with the marinade and let it soak, this can also be done a day in advance.
5. Garnish the tofu with sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions.
Enjoy your meal!
