Tip for leftovers
After dinner, you sometimes have some leftovers. It's a shame to throw them away! Here are some tips to make something delicious with them!
Make sure you have eggs at home and you can create a tasty 'bubble & squeak' with your leftovers for lunch or a light dinner:
Place the savoury leftovers from a lavish dinner in a frying pan with some sunflower oil or butter.
Cook over medium heat until warm, then crack one or more eggs per person on top of the leftovers. Let it bubble gently until the egg white is set. Do you have any fresh herbs or other tasty greens at home? Chop them finely and sprinkle them over the egg dish. Delicious with toasted stale bread and any leftover dip or spread from your fridge or gravy that’s left over.
