Get to know the innovative cuisine of guest chef Merijn!
On 1 March, I will be cooking a special 3-course dinner together with Merijn van Berlo (chef at restaurant Choux). We will surprise you with extraordinary ingredients and preparations.
Verveine, chamomile, hay, hemp, sunchoke, black garlic, sea buckthorn berries, just to name a few ingredients that we will ferment, pickle, smoke or cook sous vide.
Joris and I have been fans of Merijn for a long time and are often left speechless by his dishes. And I am proud that four former students of MarleenKookt have started working at such a good restaurant as Choux.
One day, I took the plunge and asked Merijn if he would like to cook with me as a guest chef. With this dinner, I want to inspire you and introduce you to this special way of cooking.
The 3-course dinner with or without meat can be reserved until Thursday 12:00 for €27.50 per person. To complete the experience of dining at home, you can also order a special wine from the Choux wine list.
