Brownie with walnut
Brownie with walnut
Inspired by a recipe from 'How to Be a Domestic Goddess' by Nigella Lawson. Truly a divine brownie. Dig in!
Ingredients: 375 grams of butter, cubed 375 grams of dark chocolate, 70%, chopped 7 eggs 12 teaspoons of vanilla extract or 1 packet of vanilla sugar (then subtract the weight of the packet from the sugar) 500 grams of sugar 225 grams of flour 1 teaspoon of salt 150 grams of chopped walnuts 150 grams of white chocolate, chopped into small pieces (5 mm by 5 mm)
Preparation: Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in a pan over low heat. Keep the heat low and place the butter at the bottom of the pan and the chocolate on top, so it doesn't burn. As soon as the butter and chocolate have melted, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. In the meantime, mix the eggs with the vanilla extract and sugar in a large bowl (this is where everything will come together!). Then add the melted chocolate/butter mixture and stir well. Next, add the flour and salt and mix well. Finally, add the chopped walnuts and white chocolate pieces. Pour the mixture into a greased large baking dish (20 x 30 cm and at least 6 cm deep) and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Check after 30 minutes: if the top is light brown and slightly cracked and the inside is dark and compact, then the brownie is ready. If not, give it a few more minutes and check again. Always exciting, baking brownies :-)
Enjoy your meal!
