Meatballs with Apple Compote
These succulent meatballs are made from seitan, a protein-rich meat alternative. They pair beautifully with oven-roasted potatoes, green beans, and homemade apple compote. This dish is 100% plant-based (vegan).
Organic seitan (wheat gluten, sunflower protein, parsnip, white onion, tomato purée, apple cider vinegar, yeast, vegetable stock, herbs, spices, sunflower oil, sea salt), green beans, white onion, potato, Jonagold apple, meatball spices (black pepper, coriander seeds, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, caraway seeds, mace), cinnamon, star anise, breadcrumbs, white wine, sugar, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.
Allergens: alcohol, gluten, selderij, sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the potatoes, meatballs, and green beans loosely covered for 2-3 minutes (1 person) to 4-6 minutes (2 or more people). Serve with the apple compote (cold).

Preheat the oven and warm the potatoes, meatballs, and green beans covered with aluminium foil or an oven-safe dish for 10-15 minutes (1 person) to 20-25 minutes (2 or more people). Serve with the apple compote (cold). Disposable containers cannot go in the oven, please transfer to an oven dish.
