Arretjescake
My mother often made arretjescake for birthdays or parties when I was younger. I would sneakily (and perhaps a bit too much) nibble on the batter. The 'cake' doesn't go in the oven, but sets in the fridge. In this version, I add pieces of walnut. A rich treat to enjoy in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea :)
