Roasted Chicken with Hete Bliksem
This is yesterday's meal, just as delicious today and €1 cheaper! Individually packaged in sustainable disposable packaging. I marinate this chicken thigh (Better Life 2 stars) overnight in a mixture of honey, mustard, and a hint of sherry vinegar. The next day, I roast the chicken until cooked through in a hot oven. Accompanying this is a classic hete bliksem: a mash with crispy bacon and roasted apple. The portion of roasted vegetables completes this dish perfectly.
Roasted Chicken with Hete Bliksem
Chicken thigh fillet (Better Life 2 stars), bacon lardons, carrot, celeriac, green beans, garlic, potato, Jonagold apple, fresh parsley, milk, Dijon mustard, coarse mustard, honey, sugar, sherry vinegar, pepper and salt, sunflower oil.
Allergens: koemelk, lactose, mosterd, selderij, sulfiet.
Microwave
Heat the chicken, hete bliksem, and vegetables loosely covered for 3-4 minutes.

Preheat the chicken, hete bliksem, and vegetables covered with an ovenproof plate or aluminium foil for 15-20 minutes. Disposable containers cannot be used in the oven; transfer to an oven dish.
